Well, I’ve been putting a little money aside here and there, checking for a sale, if I had enough saved up yet, reading reviews, and seeing how everyone was happy with them. These speakers work good and are certainly small, but I would recommend only for light listening. If you need it loud but still small, I’d try the Dayton Audio B652 speakers. I am not an expert audiophile, but I like what I hear. I used to have a setup with ADC 404s and I get no less satisfaction from these.

But loving jazz and classical they feel anemic. If klipsch new speakers where around when i bought these id go with them. DSP provide support for electronic crossover and dynamic control, while you enjoy 24-bit sample rates of up to 192kHz. A Class D Amp allows you to crank the volume while still maintaining crystal clear audio.
I do have separate bass, mid & treble controls – KEIID calls it “EQ” – it’s not but I have enough flexibility to customize the sound to the way I like it. I would rather have TOO MUCH mid/treble than not enough – you can always back it off and it’s really nice to know it’s there if you need it. I’m using this now for more things than I expected.
